Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different stance and control handle configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations as well as the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options also.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: To really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to decrease operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These machines are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are normally rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
