End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machine and is popular in the material handling industry. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric forklift units.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent alternative for applications which require regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
A lot of businesses utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments can arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The tines additionally have a hydraulic setup which allows the operator to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
