Optional Accessories for Your Forklift
Audible Devices - Motion or back-Up Alarms:
Back-up alarms and motion alarms are audio device accessories that produce enough sound so that the sound is heard overtop the sounds produced from the forklift itself.
The sound produced by the audio device should be distinguishable from other audible devices or noises from the work environment. The sound must also be different from the other noise or audible devices in the work place. The audible device can employee noise exposure and end up contribute to OSHA noise limitation; hence, care needs to be taken.
Hearing protection makes it trickier to hear the audible device and to determine which direction and distance it is coming from. Audible devices can occasionally get deactivated from operators and workers since they could find them annoying. What's more, audible devices could also be objectionable to residents in the vicinity.
Additional Operator & Application Options:
Enclosed Operator Cabs: Operator enclosed cabs help to protect the operator from the elements. They utilize tempered glass so as to avoid injuries. In addition, these cabs feature an emergency exit through window removal. The levels of noise are lessened at the operator's ear due to additional sound proofing.
Operator Selectable Performance Modes: For each specific application, the operator could choose the performance requirement. Furthermore, it enables a supervisor to set the maximum performance of a model for an operator who is just starting to learn. Being able to lessen and adjust the model's maximum performance allows a new operator to learn the equipment's operating characteristics in a controlled environment.
Impact Monitor: The impact monitor deactivates the model and when this occurs, it needs a supervisor to activate and override the unit. This encourages the operator to be sure to manage the machine in a more controlled manner.
Dual Rear View and Panoramic Mirrors: These specific mirrors help to assist the operator in observing the operating space behind the vehicle, and their tail swing area.
