Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks offer versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Standard forklifts could not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would often utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is meant to lift workers is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a chain or strap is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
