Hazards of Type-G lift trucks
Forklifts carry out an important role in the operations of warehouses and other businesses. These machinery are capable of lifting and transporting immense loads from one place to another. There are many variations on the forklift. The main variation is the way in which various units are fueled. "LP" lift trucks are the type which is most popular. They utilize liquid propane. Type "E" lift trucks operate on electricity and have big rechargeable batteries. Type "D" lift trucks are powered by diesel and type "G" utilize gasoline. While all kinds of forklifts, similar to any piece of heavy machinery, can pose a danger, gasoline powered forklifts pose the most risks.

Fire
Forklifts labelled type G could present a fire hazard. Gas lift trucks are not made with the same rigorous standards. Gas leaks are the biggest cause of fire due mainly to gas leaks and also escaped gas fumes. This could result from normal wear and from mishaps or driving on really rough terrain. These circumstances pose a danger and could result in fire. Therefore, a standard Type G forklift should never be utilized in conditions where elevated fire risk is deemed not acceptable. Like for instance, these types of forklifts should not be utilized around hazardous or explosive chemicals.

Explosion
Gas forklifts also pose a risk of explosion, as do diesel and liquid propane based forklifts. A kind of forklift that operate on gasoline could explode as a result of a serious accident in circumstances where a gasoline leak and an ignition source are present. An explosion could happen when sparks are created in the collision and the sparks ignite the gasoline.

Fumes and Exhaust
Type G lift trucks pose a serious inhalation hazard because of toxic fumes. Gasoline fumes can be deadly in high concentrations. Fumes can result from the exhaust itself or from gasoline leaks. Hence, a Type G forklift is really not suggested for any environment which is poorly ventilated. The exhaust would present a serious hazard in enclosed spaces. This kind of forklift must be utilized with caution when operated in close proximity to individuals.
