Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is targeting a new customer base. Various industries, from the concrete and natural stone businesses, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all working with and depending on heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power offered by the units keep cost of operation low and provide the best conditions for economical work. These kinds of machines could excel in the most demanding settings.
Offering the required power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and also provides great acceleration.
In order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator could use a switch. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, just by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery simple to maneuver and comfortable to use.
A spacious and comfortable working place is offered by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines fatigue-free work with high performance. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was ergonomically designed to provide a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the unit's overall safety. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on providing the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai machinery are supposed to have.
