Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines made by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. For example, in industrial environments where the machinery must travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and flexibility of a diesel powered generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC equipment.
Key features which this combination provides is out, up and over positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. Moreover, the zero tail-swing offered by nearly all units, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
The proportional and drive controls provide the machine with smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models available to function with an extra working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie equipment by Terex are great for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine out, over and up positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach offered by this particular type is the best in the market.
Diesel engine machines on nearly all modes have an articulating boom which offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These equipment are ideal in small or narrow places. Additionally, they provide exceptional torque, terrain and grade maneuverability and utmost power. The diesel engines are quiet overall also. The majority of models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to provide great flexibility on uneven and rough surfaces.
The 4 or 2 wheel drive models, offer the rough terrain features and high ground clearance which make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models as well.
